Funeral services for Sherry Willis Layton, 65, of Pelham will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Stacy West will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Turner Shiver, Rentz Hampton, Darren Harrell, Lamar Harrell, Duane Bentley, Davi Willis and Chris Sharp. Born August 28, 1960 in Camp Lejeune, NC she was the daughter of the late Vance David, Sr and Glenda Faye Harrell Willis. Mrs. Layton passed away Sunday in Panama City Beach, Fl. She had just retired from Pelham Banking Company as Bookkeeper. She was married for 46 years to Raiford Layton, Jr. of Pelham who survives. Other survivors include her children, Ches Layton (Kylie); and Kasey Logue (Marc) all of Pelham, grandchildren, Macee Layton, Brodee Layton, Makaya Logue, Kayden Logue, and Delaney Logue all of Pelham; a brother Cliff Willis of Moultrie and sister, Becky Shiver of Camilla.
