Steve Allen

Funeral services for Steve Allen, 74, of Donalsonville will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 5:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Mike Newsome will officiate and interment will be at a later date at New Home Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Born November 8, 1951 in Cairo, he was the son of the late Bura B. and Fronnie Lou McClelland Allen. Mr. Allen passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 at Seminole Manor. He was a retired Machinest at Vada Builders and member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. He is survived by his wife Sylvia Ann Glover of Donalsonville; two sons, Christopher Scott Allen (Michelle) of Valdosta and Keith Allen (Rhonda) of Moultrie; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchidlren on the way, siblings, Frances Benton of Cairo; Linda Henning of Attapulgus and Elwood Allen of Cairo. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jimmy Allen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00-5:00PM.
