Terry Wesley Banks, Sr.

Terry Wesley Banks, Sr., 61, of Pelham passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Archbold Inpatient Hospice.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.  Rev Arnold Buckner, Rev. Donnie Wilkes, Rev. Ricky Pollock, and Rev. Jeff Brooks will officiate with interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be David Bynum, Brian Moore, Tyler Cooper, Shawn Glover, Shawn Moore and Matt Moore.  Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Moore, Taylor Bentley, Bryan Glover and Brad Glover.  Born November 26, 1963 in Adel, GA, he was the son of the late Linda Gail Harelson.  Mr. Banks served in the US Armed Forces and worked with the City of Pelham in the Water, Gas, and Sewage departments prior to his illness.  He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Marsha Banks; children, Terry Wesley Banks II (Amanda) and Roger Allen Banks (Amber) all of Pelham; grandchildren Kevin, Derek, Morgan, Kaidence, Ariel, Asher, Sophia, and Serenity; sister Patricia Moore (John) of Troy, AL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy Gaines, Wade Glover (Gina) of Thomasville, Steve Glover (Tammy) of Pelham and Kathy Glover of Camilla; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Raymond Harelson and two sisters, Rhonda Gaines and Barbara Ann Banks.  The family will meet with friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 6:00-8:00PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.
