Tesa Porter Barron

Funeral services for Tesa Porter Barron, 58, of Pelham will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Matt Peek will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born August 6, 1960 she was the daughter of the late Andrew (Jack) Porter and Merle Lodge Porter who survives. Tesa passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at her residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pelham. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Godwin, John D. Porter, Casey Russ, Neadom Palmer, Rusty Davis and Drew Russ. Survivors other than her mother include a son, John Rufus Barron of Ochlocknee; granddaughter, Chloe Rose Johnson of San Diego, CA; a sister Carol P. Elrod (Steve) of Opelika, AL; and a niece Jennifer Elrod of San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her father, daughter, Maria Shea Johnson; grandparents, Rufus L. and Audrey Godwin Lodge and Joe R. and Ella Mae Porter. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
