Vivian Godwin

Funeral services for Vivian Richter Godwin, 93, of Pelham will be Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home.  Rev. Matt Peek will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be John Mark Morrell, Joey Brinkley, John Bullington, Jimmy Godwin, John Gray, John Rich and Duane Bentley.  Born November 27, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Laurence Fred and Rosa Pearl Palmer Richter.  Mrs. Godwin passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee. She was married to Ira L. Godwin who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of the Sunshine Gleaners Class and Golden Age. She is survived by her son, Roger L. Godwin (Betty); grandchildren, Sarah Godwin Brinson (Shane); Walter L. Godwin (Rebecca); Great Grandchildren, Shelby Brinson; Kell Brinson, Kody Brinson, Jake Brinson and Noah Godwin; and a very special friend, Cheryl Powell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her son, James Fred Godwin.  The family will receive friends on Monday, March 19, 2018, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Pelham.  Friends may sign the online guestbook at www.willisjamersonbraswell.com Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
