Funeral services for Waymon Earl Humphries, 78, of Pelham, will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home with interment in Pelham City Cemetery. Rev. Herman Hampton will officiate. Mr. Humphries passed away at Tallahassee Select Medical Hospital, Tallahassee, FL, on Sunday, April 17, 2016. Born February 22, 1938, in Spence, Mitchell County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Delma Humphries and Mila Mae Brinson Humphries. Mr. Humphries served in the Navy, was a member of East Pelham Baptist Church, the American Legion and the National Rifle Association. He worked as a machinist at Coats and Clark. He is survived by his wife, Jean Fudge Humphries of Pelham, daughters Tammy Williams (Mickey), Fran Griffin, Lorraine Bryan, all of Pelham, and Larkie Murray of Nashville, GA; grandchildren Dylan Jones and Ethan Jones of Baconton, Patrick Parker of Pelham, Eugene Parker III and Danielle Griffin of Athens, GA, Lucas Bryan of Alameda, CA, Emily Cornelius (Nathan), Katie Julia Murray and Jake Murray, all of Nashville, GA, and one great grandson, Dallas Cornelius of Nashville, GA, sisters Mary Andrews of Cairo, Gloria Palmer of Pelham, and Lenora Nazworth (Don) of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delma Humphries and Mila Mae Brinson, two brothers Wendell Humphries and Jerry Humphries, and a sister Glenda Humphries Howell. Pallbearers will be Charles "Beep" Jamerson, Jimmy Sadler, Johnny Herndon, Jimmy Woods, and Jerry Brinson. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Mr. Humphries' grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Contributions can be made to the National Rifle Association at The NRA Foundation, P. O.
