He was an active member of Civitan International, the National Cattleman’s Association, and served as a board member of Spruce Creek Development in Tiger, GA. Bill did not believe in slowing down and continued to farm throughout his life. He loved Kentucky Basketball, exploring land properties, playing ping-pong with his grandchildren, and drinking chocolate milkshakes. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Avalou Walton. He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha, his brother John Walton, Jr., his brother-in-law, David Hinson, his three children, Stephen (Laurie) Walton, Joanne (Brian) Allensworth, and Katie (JT) Thompson, and his nine grandchildren: Andrew Allensworth (22), Abby Allensworth (20), Mary Katherine Walton (20), Lily Walton(17), Hudson Thompson(12), Charlotte Walton(12), Lucy Thompson (10), Adalynn Thompson(7), and Lottie Thompson(4), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
