Willie L Mote

Willie Lee Mote, 70, of Augusta, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025.  Born December 24, 1954 in Monticello, FL, he was the son of the late David Junior Mote and Mildred Colvin Brock, who survives.  He was a self-employed painter for many years.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children Shane Mote of Thomasville, Steve Mote of Douglas, Terry Mote of Baconton, and a daughter Kesha Mote Fowler of Meigs; grandchildren Lauren Mote, Autumn Mote, Paige Mote, Kaitlyn Mote, Marissa Mote, Chloe Mote, Gavin Polk and Ivy Polk; sister Linda Humphries (Randall) of Pelham and a brother James Edward "Bubba" Mote of Ochlocknee.  He was preceded in death by his father, brothers, Robert David Mote, Jessie V. Mote, and Ronnie Mote and sister Diane Humphries Singletary.  A private memorial service will be planned at a later date.
