Willie Delane Snipes, Sr.

Willie Delane Snipes, 71, of Barwick passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Rev. Doug Hall will officiate.  Born September 7,1951 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Willie Eugene and Virginia Campbell Snipes.  He was a member of Union Grove Church and worked as a mechanic and an orderly.  He is survived by his children, Lynn Martin (Jesse) of Boston, GA, Dawn Taylor (Donald) of Orlando, FL, Willie Delane (Jr.) Snipes, Jr. of Bainbridge, GA, grandchildren Sierra Hill (Kent), Taylor Powell (David), Hunter Bell, Aric Bell, Harley Hudson, Triston White and Tyler White, great-grandchildren S J Hill and Luke Hill, son-in-law James White and special friend Alma Humphrey.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Zandra White, and three brothers Franklin Snipes, Doug Snipes and Eugene Snipes.  In lieu of flowers the donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral cost at the following link.  https://www.ilof.com/willis-jamerson-braswell-funeral-home/willie-snipes Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home
