Winston Douglas Hurst

Winston Douglas Hurst, 59, of Meigs, Georgia passed away at his residence on Monday, March 31, 2014. Born on November 10, 1954 in Camilla, Georgia to Christine Stanaland Hurst and the late James Robert Hurst, he was Jehovah Witness by faith and was a retired roofer. He is survived by his daughter Crystal DeAnna Fuller and husband, Jonathan, of Cusseta, Alabama, grandchildren Brandon Hines, Blain Hines and Austin Fuller, all of Cusseta, Alabama, mother Christine Stanaland Hurst of Thomasville, Georgia, sisters Carla Brinkley and husband, Randy, of Meigs, Georgia, Carol Davis and husband, Glenn, of Abbeville, Alabama, nephews J. R. Brinkley of Meigs, Georgia, Tim Davis of Dothan, Alabama, Kevin Davis and Jeffrey Davis, both of Abbeville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his son Kendall Douglas Hurst, father James Robert Hurst and nephew Brandon Anderson. No formal visitation will be held. Memorial services will be conducted graveside on Wednesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Meigs Sunset Cemetery with Glenn Barfield officiating the services.
