Funeral services for Franklin Eugene (Bo) Curles, Sr., 86 of Pelham will be held Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 3:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Wynn will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ben Harrison, Charles harden, Kelly Horne, Allen Horne, Billy Horne and Dewey Burnum. Born August 4, 1933 in Cotton he was the son of the late Jim Curles, Sr. and Nellie Mae Evans Curles. He was married for 65 years to Dorothy Horne Curles of Pelham who survives. He was a member of Lake Pleasant Church, he was the State Secretary for FFA in high school, former County Commissioner, last surviving member of Lake Pleasant's original Building Committee, a Mason and member of the Hasan Temple Shriner's in Albany and Pelham Chamber Farmer of the Year. He is survived by his wife, daughters, Diane Willis of Camilla, Madorah Palmer (Hugh) of Camilla; and Beth Marshall (Fiancee Matt Mills) of Cotton; sons, Dr. Bo Curles (Denise) of Pelham and Jimbo Curles of Pelham; grandchildren, Heather Wright (BJ), Samantha White (Marcus); Brandi Smith (Cory), Brittney Beasley (Calvin), Kristin Baggett (Cody), Jamie Curles, Justin Curles (Kambry), Haley Marshall, Doug Curles, Jackson Curles, Ellie Curles and Whitney Parker, 14 great Grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.  He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Jim Curles, Jr., Joe Curles, Juanita Curles, Helen Harrison, Cora Burnum, and Finette Hayes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00-5:00PM.  Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
