Faye H Kennedy

A private family service will be held on Thursday for Faye Kennedy, 83, of Pelham. Rev. Kathy Israel-McLeod and Rev. Andy Frazier will officiate. The family will receive friends at their home, 417 Lakeshore Road, Pelham, GA, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Born November 8, 1937 in Laurens County she was the daughter of the late James Lawrence and Mollie Alene Miller Harden. Mrs. Kennedy passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. She was a retired school teacher with Pelham City Schools and member of Hand Memorial Methodist Church. She was married to Jerry Kennedy for 60 years of Pelham who survives. Other survivors include her son, Jamie Kennedy (Gayla); daughters, Leigh K. Pollock (Pat); Fran K. Shiver (Michael); Kathy K. Matthews (Jeff); grandchildren, Ashleigh P Wilkes (Mark); Tinsley K Brooks (Carlton); Davis Pollock (Stephanie); Brett Pollock; Greyson Shiver; Abby Kennedy and Brantley Shiver; great grandchildren, Emma Kay, Jett Wilkes and Bobby Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Angie Kennedy. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude and MADD in Mrs. Kennedy's name.
